MY DARLING DARLA

The movie the little rascals will forever be iconic. My favorite part of the movie is when Alfalfa read his love letter for Darla. Granted KassydIi (My daughter) bet not EVER bring home a love letter at that age , it was the cutest thing ever. This is titled My Darling Darla because it is a love letter to your purest self. You are your purest self as a child , when your learning the world and it's ways. Throughout that time it is VITAL to learn the art of Self Love. You have to value you before anyone else can. Whether its getting your hair done or reading a book , going to work or doing your make up ; you have to make sure your doing something to satisfy your own need of nourishment. After all if you don't love you, why would anybody else? So here's my reminder;

Dear Darla

You are beautiful inside and out. Never let anyone tell you any different. You are smart and can accomplish anything you put your mind to. Understand that you are loved by me, understand that you are lovable. I wish you could see what I see. Someone full of potential , ambition and spark. You may fall down a billion times , but its to learn the gazillion different ways of getting up. You are strong. You can make it in this hell we call a world. You don’t need anybody but yourself to be who you want to be. Keep your head up and fear no man. You are the pilot of your life. Take every let down , every failure , every disappointment as a step closer to where you are meant to be. You are but a bud blossoming into that beautiful red rose, so relax. Take all the nourishing you need to grow properly and NEVER GIVE UP.
