This weekend I went to something I would say is just as life changing as pledging. You know the energy you feel at a probate full of newbies; There's pride, anxiety , joy and a sense of confidence like no other (no I'm not apart of any organizations). I attended a Fortune Builders Real Estate workshop and I couldn't have felt more blessed to be there. By day 3 I was ready to join their Mastery program with no questions asked. Let me reverse: When I first began blogging I informed my readers on my interest in getting my realtors license (almost there lol). Well Fortune Builders is this company (family rather) of Real Estate investors who work with people who want to invest in Real Estate. In August I heard a add for free information on real estate if I hurried up and texted a certain number (you know how advertising be, makes you feel like space is limited to make you act). I did just what the radio add said and was given the information to a 3 to 4 hour discussion on the do's and don'ts in Real Estate. At the end of the discussion the instructor offered a 3 day weekend workshop for $1200 (yes, $1200!!!). I'm a working mom for Pete's sake lol, do you know how many boxes of diapers $1200 can buy?!!! . So I politely got up and faded out of the room, but on my way out I was met by this nice old man who just so happen to have an extra ticket to that 3 day program. I was so elated I wanted to cry (lol I can be alittle dramatic sometimes). For three days I jam packed my brain (and not pad) full of information and tips regarding real estate rehabbing , wholesaling , asset protection and more. I was so astonished at how interested in math I was (I HATE MATH!!), but from what I could tell everything they taught us was in the numbers. All the knowledge, everything I learned I plan to apply to my own business. I came here wanting to be a realtor and left wanting so much more out of my desired profession than just selling homes. This workshop ignited such confidence and ambition that it feels like a ball of fire inside of me just waiting to burst out. When you find something in your life that makes you feel unstoppable, GO FOR IT (as long as its not serial killing). As I sat there watching the projectile screen waiting for my name to be called , my heart literally came out of my chest, up my esophagus and into my mouth. To be coached, lead by people with such integrity, honor and morality in this day in age would be a dream . If Fortune Builders only goal was to sell their company , if I had $50,000 I would have been a buyer!
