What A Thanksgiving!

Thanksgiving this year was the most layed back Thanksgiving I've ever experienced . It was the first Thanksgiving without my sisters and I was so tired after cooking , I ate and slept the day through . I had planned to cook , eat , rest , go to my moms , and eat some more but I was exhausted. My mom stands up slaving and cooking for every holiday as if it's nothing. Boy let me tell ya; cooking a full course Thanksgiving meal is no joke. I started cooking around 10 pm , took a nap until 4:00 am and did not finish until around 1:30 pm . I salute her for taking the time out to make sure we ate good every holiday and birthday but after experiencing what she has to go through to make it happen , I may just stick to being a guest instead of a host lol. It was so energy consuming and left my spine aching .
On the bright side , my food was delicious (and I don't just say that because I cooked it lol). If something don't taste right , whether I'm the cook or not , I will not hesitate to make a public service announcement about it and neither will my house hold. My son dances whenever something is tasty. When I saw those shoulders moving I knew my dressing was a hit. Kass only ate the sweet potato pie (as did I because it was BOOOMMMBBBBBB) and the Boys made several plates . I must admit , I had out done myself lol . The way everything turned out (including the nice turkey) was delicious. After eating , I crashed ; Woke up thinking to myself like I don't know how my mother does it , but I have to give her far more respect .
