There is nothing I love more than a reminder of how good God is! You can be having "the worse" day of your life and a complete stranger can completely turn that day around. For me that's just a hug from the Lord confirming that everything is okay. Have you ever had someone bless you and you take a step back and wonder why before you say thank you?

I was at Dunkin' Donuts getting a large coffee with hazelnut swirl and almond milk (Incase someone would like to surprise me with a nice cup of pick me up) and the woman in front of me paid for my order.

FREAKED ME O U T!

I'm usually the person doing the good deeds , not the person receiving them and I didn't know how to take it or accept it for that matter. Automatically my brain created a mission to PAY IT FORWARD. It was so nice for the woman to give me that well needed hug, even though I didn't know how to embrace it. When people are genuinely nice to me my mind goes into a frenzy (I'm sure I'm not the only one!). I had so many thoughts as to why she felt the need to buy me a coffee and 98.5% of them were negative.

In order to show my gratitude I had to interrupt the on going questioning my subconscious was having with my conscious mind (The thinking process ). Everyone loves a giver, or to be labeled as one that is selfless. Guess What?!

The greatest givers are also the greatest receivers! And it make sense! How else would you know how great it feels to be appreciated or thought about or shown the slightest bit of kindness if you hadn't had any given/shown to you? Everything is a two way street. So here's my way of PAYING IT FORWARD: The next time someone is kind to you and you feel like you don't deserve it INTERRUPT that train of thought and reaffirm your worthiness. The best love is self love!
